How to grow thicker, longer eyelashes

Eyelashes are an important factor to every makeup look, but they can get worn down pretty easily if you don't take care of them properly. Continuous applications of mascara can cause them to thin and removing your makeup at the end of the day too roughly can cause them to fall out. Luckily, I have some tips for you!

Coconut Oil Method: Coconut oil has many benefits for hair and skin and can be used as an all natural alternative for other products. I myself use coconut oil on my eyelashes to make them grow thicker and longer.
How to use- Get a bottle or jar of coconut oil, if it is solid, warm it in the microwave for a few seconds and wait for it to cool off a little. Then, take a clean mascara wand and dip it into the coconut oil. Apply it onto your eyelashes just like you would mascara, being careful not to get any inside your eye. Sleep with it on overnight and gently wash off any excess in the morning with warm water.

Petroleum Jelly Method: Youtubers like Farah Dhukai have also used petroleum jelly or Vaseline instead of coconut oil to strengthen and lengthen their eyelashes. It is used the same way, but instead of coconut oil, replace it with petroleum jelly.

Another tip: when removing your eye makeup, move the wipe gently downwards on your eye, following the curve of your eyelashes, to prevent them from being pulled upwards or out.
